1: AISI 4135 Steel Introduction
AISI 4135 steel is a Cr-Mo series alloy structural steel with medium carbon content. It is an American steel grade from ASTM A29. With good strength, hardenability, and toughness, AISI 4135 is commonly used in the manufacture of various mechanical components, such as shafts, connecting rods, and high-strength fasteners. SAE 4135 is generally supplied in a quenched and tempered condition.

If you want to purchase 4135 steel from China, for both hot rolled bar and plate, you may find it difficult to locate ready stock in the market. The domestic industry typically prefers 35CrMo as a more common alternative. If you can accept 35CrMo to replace 4135 material, it can significantly reduce your cost and lead time.
For hot forged material, it is generally not stocked as a standard item. Both hot forged bars and custom blocks or parts require production to order. However, the MOQ can be as low as 1 piece since the raw material (35CrMo) is readily available for forging.
