1: AISI 1213 Steel Introduction
AISI 1213 steel is a sulfur-added free-machining carbon steel. It's an America steel grade from ASTM A29. With excellent machinability, good ductility, and consistent performance, AISI 1213 is widely used in the high-volume production of precision parts that require extensive machining, such as shafts, pins, bolts, nuts, and various fasteners. SAE 1213 is generally supplied in cold drawn or turned condition with good surface finish.

If you want to purchase 1213 steel from China, no matter 1213 cold drawn bar or turned rod, you can find the stocks from China market, but stock will be not too big, because domestic always use SUM23. If you can accept SUM23 instead of 1213 material, it will save the cost.
