CK40/1.1186 C40E Carbon QT Steel No-Alloy Steel
1: CK40 Steel Introduction
Ck40 steel has a higher (0.40%) carbon content for greater strength than the lower carbon alloys. It is hardenable by heat treatment, quench and tempering to develop 150 to 250 ksi tensile strength. CK40 steel cold deformation of high plasticity, generally for bending, calendering, bending and hammer arch processing, arc welding and contact welding welding performance is good, gas welding when the thickness is small, the shape of the requirements of strict or complex shape of the parts prone to cracking. Cutting machinability cold drawn or normalized state than the annealed state is good.
