1: C22 Steel Introduction
C22 is a high quality carbon structural steel, high manganese low carbon penetration steel, and its properties are similar to those of 15mn steel. The welding performance is good, but hardenability, strength and plasticity are high. It has high strength and hardenability, good plasticity during cold deformation, medium weldability and good machinability. It has temper brittleness tendency and overheat sensitivity during heat treatment.
