Product Description
EN ISO4957 DIN 1.2714 Tool Steel
1: DIN 1.2714 Steel Introduction
1.2714 steel is a Cr-Ni-Mo series alloy tool steel with medium carbon content. It is a German steel grade according to EN ISO4957 standards, also known as 56NiCrMoV7. With high strength, excellent toughness, good hardenability, and resistance to wear and fatigue, 1.2714 is widely used in heavy-duty tooling applications such as forging dies, die-casting molds, plastic molds, and high-stress mechanical components.
This steel is typically supplied in a quenched and tempered condition, with a common hardness range of 32-38 HRC, ensuring a strong balance of durability and machinability.
